AbeA New MemberBeen looking for CX award space out of HKG-US. Biz usually opens within 2 weeks of travel.
Just noticed alaska award chart rule #8 here: [URL]https://www.alaskaair.com/content/mileage-plan/use-miles/award-charts.aspx?lid=nav%3amileage-charts&INT-_AS_NAV_-prodID%3aMileagePlan[/URL]says” Excludes Hong Kong. The following blackout dates apply for travel between North America and Asia in 2017: Jan 1, Jan 26 – 31, May 12 – Jun 30, Jul 14 – Aug 19, Sep 30 – Oct 10, Dec 8 – Dec 31″
Does this mean blackout dates do not apply to HKG? -

What a poorly-formatted list of terms!
Alaska doesn’t have blackout dates on Cathay Pacific that I’m aware of. I think those must be for Korean.
