Bilt Rent Day Promotion October 2026: Up To 200% Hilton & Amtrak Transfer Bonus, Plus Status Match!

33

Bilt is the platform known for providing rewards for housing payments. Earlier this year we saw massive changes at Bilt, including an overhaul of the credit card portfolio, plus new ways that housing rewards are offered.

There are many innovative things about Bilt, including that there’s a Bilt Rent Day promotion on the first day of each month. With it now being a new month, we’ve just seen the October 2026 Bilt Rent Day offer launch, which includes transfer bonuses to Hilton Honors and Amtrak Guest Rewards, as well as status opportunities with Hilton Honors. Let’s go over the details, as I’m sure these offers will interest many people.

Details of the October 2026 Bilt Rent Day promotion

There are a couple of aspects to the Bilt Rent Day promotion, including the ability to earn bonus points (which is the same every month), plus at least one additional promotion.

Note that Bilt Rent Day promotions are generally valid from 12:00AM ET until 11:59PM PT, so technically you have around 27 hours to take advantage of them.

Earn double Bilt points on Rent Day purchases

Bilt has a portfolio of credit cards, including the no annual fee Bilt Blue Card (learn more), $95 annual fee Bilt Obsidian Card (learn more), and $495 annual fee Bilt Palladium Card (learn more) (Rates & Fees). Personally, I think the Bilt Palladium Card is by far the most lucrative.

On the first day of each month, you earn double those rewards on these cards, and earn up to 1,000 bonus points each month. It could be worth strategically making some purchases on the first day of each month to maximize this as much as possible.

For example, with double points, the Bilt Palladium Card offers 4x points on everyday spending on the first day of the month, so that’s pretty awesome (up to a cap of $500 worth of spending, since that would earn you 1,000 bonus points).

Get an up to 200% Hilton Honors transfer bonus, plus status

On October 1, 2026 only, Bilt is offering a transfer bonus when you move points to Hilton Honors. The transfer bonus you’re eligible for depends on your Bilt elite status, as follows:

  • Bilt Blue members can receive a 75% transfer bonus
  • Bilt Silver members can receive a 100% transfer bonus
  • Bilt Gold members can receive a 150% transfer bonus
  • Bilt Platinum members can receive a 175% transfer bonus
  • Bilt Platinum members who opt-in to the buy-up can receive a 200% transfer bonus

All Bilt Rewards members can buy-up one bonus tier, using $200 in Bilt Cash. Members can move up to 100,000 Bilt points while receiving the bonus.

This offer also includes a Hilton Honors elite status fast track offer, where you receive status in advance, and then extend that (or even elevate your status) based on qualifying activity:

  • Bilt Blue & Silver members can receive instant Hilton Honors Silver status, and need to stay six nights in 90 days for Gold status
  • Bilt Gold members can receive instant Hilton Honors Gold status, and need to stay 12 nights in 90 days for Diamond status
  • Bilt Platinum members can receive instant Hilton Honors Diamond status, and need to stay 12 nights in 90 days to maintain Diamond status

Making a points transfer of any amount will trigger the instant status through the end of the year. The challenge must be completed by the end of the year in order to keep status through the end of 2027.

Admittedly Hilton Honors status isn’t hard to earn, but that is a potentially lucrative offer. When it comes to the transfer bonus as such, I value Hilton Honors points at 0.5 cents each. So given the standard 1:1 transfer ratio, even with a 200% bonus, that’s like getting 1.5 cents of value per Bilt point. That’s not bad, but also not that exciting, in my opinion.

Up to 125% Amtrak Guest Rewards transfer bonus

On October 1, 2026 only, Bilt is offering a transfer bonus when you move points to Amtrak Guest Rewards. The transfer bonus you’re eligible for depends on your Bilt elite status, as follows:

  • Bilt Blue members can receive a 25% transfer bonus
  • Bilt Silver members can receive a 50% transfer bonus
  • Bilt Gold members can receive a 75% transfer bonus
  • Bilt Platinum members can receive a 100% transfer bonus
  • Bilt Platinum members who opt-in to the buy-up can receive a 125% transfer bonus

All Bilt Rewards members can buy-up one bonus tier, using $400 in Bilt Cash (that’s a lot of Bilt Cash for an elevated transfer bonus, but then again, it’s like Monopoly money, and most of us will see the currency expire anyway). Members can move up to 100,000 Bilt points while receiving the bonus.

Bilt points typically transfer to Amtrak at a 2:1 ratio, and I consider each Amtrak point to be worth 2.6 cents, meaning you ordinarily get 1.3 cents of value per Bilt point by making these transfers. Obviously if you could get a 125% transfer bonus, you’re looking at getting over 2.9 cents of value per Bilt point, which is pretty amazing. Of course this assumes you actually want to take Amtrak…

Bottom line

On the first day of each month, Bilt offers a Rent Day promotion. In addition to earning up to double points for purchases, for October 2026, there’s the opportunity to take advantage of an up to 200% transfer bonus to Hilton Honors, a Hilton Honors status match challenge, and an up to 125% transfer bonus to Amtrak Guest Rewards.

It’s cool to see two Rent Day offers the same month, and I think people will find some value here.

Are you taking advantage of the Bilt Rent Day promotion for October 2026?

Maybe Ben was thinking of how with Bilt Platinum status and the buy-up for the 200% transfer bonus... it'd be Bilt 1:3 Hilton; therefore, 1.5 cpp for all that effort... nah, probs just a typo.

  2. 1990_ Diamond

For October 2026, the Amtrak promotion maybe ok, but charging B$400 (when it used to be B$200) for the buy-up... not great. Then, oof, the Hilton transfer/status promotion is weak-sauce. Bilt is typically 1:1 with Hilton which is horrible. Like, Amex is 1:2 Hilton, and often has a transfer bonus (there's one now, 30% through October 14, supposedly.) Many cards already include Hilton status (Aspire-Diamond, Surpass and Amex Platinum-Gold, each includes complimentary breakfast benefits.) Even...

Even with the 200% Platinum buy-up, fine, you might get 1:3, but Hilton points are not that valuable (0.5 cpp, so that's closer to 1.5 cpp for BILT, which can be much better used for Alaska, Hyatt, United, etc., even without transfer bonuses.)

For clarity: We’re allowed to transfer 150,000 Bilt points for a total of up to 300k virgin points, if say we do the Bilt cash buy up to 100% bonus? I haven’t done a bonus transfer since the limit was sadly put into place. Just trying to understand is the 150k is before or after the bonus. Thanks!

for real ive been dying to get one. i still think we will in next 6 months otherwise i'll cry

PSA for those who matched to Accor Platinum. The 2 SUA that BILT advertised aren't showing up once the status match has been processed. When I click on SUA option under my upgraded Accor account, I see below text -

"Earn 2 SUA as soon as you reach 60 nights or 14,000 status points."

It seems that those SUA are milestone benefits like Hyatt's SUA and not staus benefit.

This makes the transferred Platinum status "platinum extra light" for NA stays since you anyway don't get breakfast/loung access in NA/Fairmonts.

I know this is late…. But did you get this resolved? I got my 2 SUA from the Bilt match and have successfully used them to book a stay. Just an FYI.

    2. DMoney Guest

They showed up for me a few days after I posted above message, so looks like it worked as advertised, albeit with delay and no communication in the meantime from any party. I am glad those SUA are good through end of 2027. I hope to find some use for them in the near future.

  5. 1990 Guest

Potential issue with this Accor status offer: Accor won’t extend a status you have already. So if you already have Gold, you can’t extend Gold… Yeah, not great.

  6. Jerry Springer Guest

You all should really get used to BILT being mostly hype. Every now again they may wow you, depending on your use cases.

And get used to piles of useless BILT cash and BILT Cash redemptions and coupons that don’t really work. lol.

Seems you’ve accepted service just sucks by design.

  7. 1990 Guest

Incredibly lame that BILT does 1:1, while Amex does 1:2, even without promotional rates. With Hilty points averaging less than 0.5cpp, c’mon… also, why haven’t Blade and/or Blacklane gone live yet as BILT Cash redemptions? Can’t do ‘coming soon’ for 6 months, Ankur…

    1. 1990 Guest

Oh, hey now, yet another month goes by... still "Coming Soon" on those B$ redemptions...

    2. grayanderson Diamond

At the rate Bilt is going with those two items, "Coming Soon" may involve a lawsuit over induced breakage.

    3. Greg Guest

unlikely - you going to sue atmos for coming soon for their additional roll-outs still pending? LOL

    4. 1990 Guest

Gray, if that's what it takes... so be it. I just don't want to be the one holding the bag.

    5. Kennny Guest

Don’t be silly. There won’t be any lawsuit over “induced breakage” or anything similar. There wouldn’t be a credit card business.

    6. 1990 Guest

Kennny (with three 'n'!), yeah, let's just legitimize thievery and deception when companies do it, because it's 'always been done that way.' Consumers be damned! /s

    7. Zach Guest

Ben - I hope you’ll finally give the Fairmont Banff Springs and maybe Lake Louise a try. We’re headed back over Labor Day and ready to try the Basin Glacial Waters experience at Lake Louise. We received our best upgrade at Banff Springs last October…their concierge team for suite bookings is exceptional. Give it a try. Worth a visit regardless of whether you have status.

  8. grayanderson Diamond

I might entertain this for Fairmont GCs in a pinch, but I'd really rather hold out for something better next month or after.

FM Gold Clubs are exlucded from Platinum status benefit, so this makes your decision simple. Not sure why Ben makes it sound that Accor Platinum is a great status, whereas his own post that he links to in this article implies otherwise - "Other than that, I’d consider the incremental elite perks here to be quite weak, compared to what the competition offers. The upgrade benefit is otherwise the same as it is with Gold,...

Two turds in a row. Worse is, Amex will likely have 1:2.4 transfer bonus going at the same time, for a month.

With each month I regret more and more not sending everything to JAL.

    1. Harold Guest

guess you havent seen the latest news about JAL availability. amazing transfer bonus but man it wrecked the entire program

    2. Jayce Guest

Im aware. Still think a glut of devalued JAL miles would be better than what we've seen since - particularly with the 100k cap.

  10. 1990 Guest

So freaking lame. Amex already does 1:2, and that's a bad deal with Hiltys being valued at like 0.5cpp on-average (or less!)
