Bilt is the platform known for providing rewards for housing payments. Earlier this year we saw massive changes at Bilt, including an overhaul of the credit card portfolio, plus new ways that housing rewards are offered.

Looks like you have a copypasta: "Get up to a 200% transfer bonus with TAP Air Portugal"

What is a "copypasta" ? How about a "coffee-pizza" ?

So freaking lame. Amex already does 1:2, and that's a bad deal with Hiltys being valued at like 0.5cpp on-average (or less!)

Two turds in a row. Worse is, Amex will likely have 1:2.4 transfer bonus going at the same time, for a month.

With each month I regret more and more not sending everything to JAL.

Im aware. Still think a glut of devalued JAL miles would be better than what we've seen since - particularly with the 100k cap.

I might entertain this for Fairmont GCs in a pinch, but I'd really rather hold out for something better next month or after.

Incredibly lame that BILT does 1:1, while Amex does 1:2, even without promotional rates. With Hilty points averaging less than 0.5cpp, c’mon… also, why haven’t Blade and/or Blacklane gone live yet as BILT Cash redemptions? Can’t do ‘coming soon’ for 6 months, Ankur…

FM Gold Clubs are exlucded from Platinum status benefit, so this makes your decision simple. Not sure why Ben makes it sound that Accor Platinum is a great status, whereas his own post that he links to in this article implies otherwise - "Other than that, I’d consider the incremental elite perks here to be quite weak, compared to what the competition offers. The upgrade benefit is otherwise the same as it is with Gold, there’s no guaranteed late check-out, and it’s disappointing that breakfast is only free in Asia-Pacific."

At the rate Bilt is going with those two items, "Coming Soon" may involve a lawsuit over induced breakage.

unlikely - you going to sue atmos for coming soon for their additional roll-outs still pending? LOL

Greg, Alaska Atmos isn't at issue here; BILT Cash is.

Gray, if that's what it takes... so be it. I just don't want to be the one holding the bag.

Don’t be silly. There won’t be any lawsuit over “induced breakage” or anything similar. There wouldn’t be a credit card business.

Kennny (with three 'n'!), yeah, let's just legitimize thievery and deception when companies do it, because it's 'always been done that way.' Consumers be damned! /s

Ben - I hope you’ll finally give the Fairmont Banff Springs and maybe Lake Louise a try. We’re headed back over Labor Day and ready to try the Basin Glacial Waters experience at Lake Louise. We received our best upgrade at Banff Springs last October…their concierge team for suite bookings is exceptional. Give it a try. Worth a visit regardless of whether you have status.

You all should really get used to BILT being mostly hype. Every now again they may wow you, depending on your use cases.

And get used to piles of useless BILT cash and BILT Cash redemptions and coupons that don’t really work. lol.

Seems you’ve accepted service just sucks by design.

Potential issue with this Accor status offer: Accor won’t extend a status you have already. So if you already have Gold, you can’t extend Gold… Yeah, not great.

PSA for those who matched to Accor Platinum. The 2 SUA that BILT advertised aren't showing up once the status match has been processed. When I click on SUA option under my upgraded Accor account, I see below text -

"Earn 2 SUA as soon as you reach 60 nights or 14,000 status points."

It seems that those SUA are milestone benefits like Hyatt's SUA and not staus benefit.

This makes the transferred Platinum status "platinum extra light" for NA stays since you anyway don't get breakfast/loung access in NA/Fairmonts.

I know this is late…. But did you get this resolved? I got my 2 SUA from the Bilt match and have successfully used them to book a stay. Just an FYI.

They showed up for me a few days after I posted above message, so looks like it worked as advertised, albeit with delay and no communication in the meantime from any party. I am glad those SUA are good through end of 2027. I hope to find some use for them in the near future.

For clarity: We’re allowed to transfer 150,000 Bilt points for a total of up to 300k virgin points, if say we do the Bilt cash buy up to 100% bonus? I haven’t done a bonus transfer since the limit was sadly put into place. Just trying to understand is the 150k is before or after the bonus. Thanks!
