I’m not much of a tech guy. Probably my only technological claim is that I’m better at iMessaging than my mother (she just got an iPhone a couple of months ago and it’s a learning process, to put it nicely). Anyway, I’m told that Boarding Area is going to try to switch servers again (or something like that), as was tried unsuccessfully back in February. This time the “process” will start late tonight, and hopefully be completed by Saturday. In the meantime all blog posts will remain live and you can still read as much as you’d like, though you won’t be able to comment, and I won’t be able to write anything new.
That being said, I’m damn lonely and sure don’t want to lose touch with you guys. But since the internet is more or less dead for me the next day, I’ve decided to use the next best form of communication to keep in touch with you guys — fax machine!
Aerolineas Argentinas may not have Wi-Fi aboard, though they do have a fax machine. So I’ll be taking things one fax at a time for the next day.
Thanks for reading, and I hope you guys don’t forget about me — I’m sad enough all alone as is!
And one final reminder that the Chase Ink limited time sign-up bonus ends this weekend, so if you’re interested in signing up don’t forget. I’ve been assured my credit card links will remain active throughout the switchover. 😉
In all honesty, you can always Tweet me or email me if you have any questions, comments, rants, hot nut observations, etc.
The fax machine hasn't worked on that plane in a LOOOOONG time :)
I agree with Dave. Had a Royal Jordanian moment with them coming back from iguazu.
You would be better off taking a Greyhound than flying with those guys!
Good luck!
