Entertainment Card Provides Great Values at Priority Club Hotels!

OK, maybe not an amazing, unheard of find, but I’ve been very impressed with the value that a simple $12.50 Entertainment Card can get you. I’ve always thought of AAA as the ultimate hotel discount, which, while not amazing can provide a decent amount of value for the frequent hotel guest. I never really thought of checking out the Entertainment Card rate, but I tired it out yesterday for the Crowne Plaza LAX for a stay in May. The normal flexible rate is $139, but setting my “Rate Preference” to “Entertainment Card” netted a price of $69.50, or 50% off! While the value isn’t quite as amazing at all properties, there are many where it works very well, so be sure to check it out. I’m not sure if it works for other hotel chains too, but as someone that’s loyal to Priority Club and Hilton, this has been a big find for me. Enjoy!

  1. After finding a significantly discounted E card rate for the CP SFO, I checked FT’s IGH forum and found cases where the E card rate did not qualify for points or stay credit, so I dropped my plan like a hot potato.

  2. Interesting, didn’t realize that. Unfortunately the rate at the Hilton has gone up in the meantime so I can’t do that anymore, so it’s the Crowne Plaza for me. Ultimately though the points don’t matter much to me when I’m saving $30+. That being said based on what I’ve read, people seem to receive the points on the EC rate about half the time, so we’ll see! Thanks for the info.
