If you have a co-branded Southwest Airlines credit card, this is most definitely an offer you should take advantage of. Today only (Friday), those with a Chase Southwest Card can earn 50x Rapid Rewards points on Southwest purchases:

• You’re capped at earning 50x points on $100 worth of spending (for a total of 5,000 points); note that those 50x points include the 2-3x base points you’d usually earn for purchases with Southwest, so you’re really earning 47-48x bonus points
• This promotion is valid between 12:00AM and 11:59PM ET on Friday, June 11, 2021
• Purchases made directly with Southwest Airlines qualify, including flight purchases, inflight purchases, Southwest gift card purchase, Rapid Rewards purchases, and Southwest Vacations packages
• There’s no registration required, and bonus points will post within eight weeks

For anyone who is eligible for the offer, you absolutely should take advantage of it. The easiest thing to do is to just purchase a $100 Southwest Airlines gift card, and then you’ll earn a total of 5,000 points for doing so.

Rapid Rewards points can be redeemed for 1.2 cents each towards the cost of a Southwest flight (they used to be worth more, but Southwest recently devalued them), so that’s like getting $60 worth of points for a $100 gift card, which is excellent.
