Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer is celebrating a major milestone, as the program now has 10 million members. To commemorate this, KrisFlyer has launched an award sale, specifically for economy and premium economy redemptions. This is separate from the program’s Spontaneous Escapes offer, which is available monthly, and is much more restrictive in terms of the markets in which you can travel.
In this post:
Save 20% on Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer awards
With Singapore Airlines’ new promotion, KrisFlyer members can save 20% off the cost of saver award tickets for travel on Singapore Airlines:
- This is valid for bookings between March 7 and March 23, 2025
- This is valid for travel between May 1 and November 15, 2025
- This is valid for all Singapore Airlines destinations in economy, and all premium economy flights between Singapore and the United States (but not premium economy flights in other markets)
- This is valid for redemptions made via Singapore Airlines’ website or mobile app, and the discounted price should automatically be shown

Is this KrisFlyer promotion worth it?
It’s cool to see a promotion from KrisFlyer with such a long travel window, since you can lock in travel now for a period of several months, for much of 2025. If you’re interested in redeeming for economy, or for premium economy to and from the United States, this is an excellent opportunity, as there are few restrictions.
Singapore Airlines offers a dignified economy and premium economy experience, so this could be a comfortable way to fly, while getting a great deal.
The one thing to keep in mind with this award sale is that no changes or cancelations are allowed once booked. This is the same policy you’ll find with the carrier’s Spontaneous Escapes promotion, and it sure is restrictive. So you’ll only want to book something if you’re 100% sure (well, or very close to that) that you’ll be able to travel.

Bottom line
Singapore KrisFlyer has launched an award sale, whereby members can save 20% off all economy saver awards, plus 20% off premium economy saver awards to and from the United States. This could be a great deal given the long travel window, but just keep in mind that these awards can’t be changed or canceled once booked.
Do you plan on taking advantage of the KrisFlyer award sale?
Yeah, I'm looking forward to flying 12 hours in economy...
Most of the flying population does it just fine, get over it.
Their economy is one of the better ones out there. But I get your point.
Not available for business class tickets to/from the US?
Seems premium economy is not discounted for the fifth freedom route between NYC and Frankfurt
