The Daily Getaways promotion is returning as of today (Monday, April 15, 2024), and could potentially offer some awesome discounted travel opportunities. I'm hoping for reasonable Choice Hotels offers. I've always gotten very good value from them in Northern Europe, India, and Japan, and if all else fails they're useful for positioning stays and road trips. Nothing else really for me short of something unexpected, most likely a deal which just happens to work with other plans.

The offers that used to be of most interest to me with the Daily Getaways have become far less compelling for me as Choice and Wyndham have devalued the points a lot in the last few months and seem inclined to devalue more and faster in the period ahead.

Beside pricing being worse, have you seen what has gone on with Choice availability? India is mostly showing as “sold out”. Japan and Northern Europe recently saw big point price increases for award nights.

How does the purchase code? Which credit card should be used?

You should be able to use the IHG points globally. I bought Best Western points before during the Daily Getaway and I was able use the points overseas. The points are deposited directly into your account.

Hi,

Where can we find the increased? Is there a chart, or did you just find it in your searches

You might want to find a travel blog that focuses on your region of interest. It is unreasonable to expect Ben to cover the entire planet by himself.

Uhh, you do realize this program is run by US Travel Association. Not Asia not EU not Africa but US.

If you actually read pass the first few lines you would have seen that.

Traveling from bed to toilet doesn't make you an experienced traveller.

If you've already bought the maximum amount of World of Hyatt points, will you be allowed to purchase more through this promotion?

By searching online in the app or the website.

And Choice has hiked up the point prices for those properties even as the amount Choice pays for the award nights has remained the same as it was even before Covid-19 hit the news.

Yes. This is a way to get around the usual annual purchase volume restrictions the programs have for direct point purchases.

Does anyone know of an effective software for getting these deals? I didn't get any last year since everything interesting was sold out instantly.
