Qatar Airways Returns Headphones Lost On Plane... Four Years Later

I work for a ground handler and the amount of crap people leave on the plane is astounding.
Expensive headphones, duty free alcohol, phones etc.
More perplexing is when people leave behind these valuable items and seemingly never return to claim them.

I've been victim of theft in Barcelona in 2022. A Macbook Air. I went to the police station and they redirected me to another bigger and more central police station. I remember I put all the information and serial number on it. Took hours to do this.
Fast foward a year later. I received an e-mail from the police telling me that they have found my laptop after a raid. Got to Barcelona and pick it up. It was exactly how I've left it.

I bet the Qsuite + Doha WC tickets are still cheaper than WC tickets only, in USA.

theft + Barcelona, nothing too unusual... Also, this just reminded of Ben's story as to how his mom got robbed at the (then) W. Part of the experiences of travel

Can Qatar Airways lose my mother in law, find her and keep her in their warehouse for 4 years ?

As Robin Williams might say, how Japanese (or Egyptian?...).

Better late than never I guess! At least this makes a good story to share.

I’m actually impressed how effective the lost and found system is at airlines/airports sometimes. My partner left his small bag with his wallet and keys after we arrived from SYD to LAX at TBIT. By the time he realized, we were at T7 already. He filed a report but also went to a United Club agent who called someone at TBIT and personally went to the terminal to fetch it. It was returned to him within and hour and half.

on a flight to KUL in business Class I wasn't able to find the second passport of one daughter. The QR Cabin Crew was very kind even other passengers helped me to find nothing. Absolutely no explanation. Immediately, I contacted found and lost at QR for weeks no feedback of a found passport. After 3 or 4 months I was in Doha and asked again, then they called from the lounge and told me they found it. I asked them several times what happened no explaination also I said it would have been helpful to inform me. Very wired not to inform Platinum members about the a found passport. Really disappointing.

I lost my JMB card inside a First Class flight to Sapporo, and I wasn't even aware of it.
A few days aftery flight, I got a phone call from JAL, telling me that the found my card, and asking for my address so they could send it.
I got it back almost immediately.
