Thank you for this news, Ben.

I am scheduled to visit Egypt next month and am thankful that I have not yet gone through the process of passport photographs for the visa and mailing them in with my passport.

Hallelujah! Was planning a full day tour of Egypt in a couple months on a long layover.
Thanks so much for this news, Ben!

Ben, is Egypt expected to charge future American tourists the same $160 processing fee our government levies against them?

@Jake P - ditto on what Tiffany said. We used "Last Minute Egypt Tours" and the service was outstanding. A representative met us before we went through Egyptian customs which was an unexpected perk. The tour guide was super friendly and knowledgeable and our driver whisked us expertly & safely through the rather crazy Cairo traffic.

@ Dax -- I don't think it's going to be the same $160 fee, no.
