Food was better before the remodel. They used to have a full buffet. For some reason beer was never included but the taps out front do look delicious.
The DBS lounge next door is my go to now when I’m not flying from T4 (which is unfortunately the default for VNA now).
If you get a priority pass meal at the restaurant, can you go to a priority pass lounge at the airport right after? Or do you only get to use priority pass once?

Unlimited visits if you have an unlimited PP. So you can go to a few on the same day.
What was this worth? I don't see prices on anything. Were you presented with a bill to sign?
I ordered the sashimi bento last time. It was a good, filling meal. Definitely worth a stop.
Had similar looking great meals there both times when transiting at Changi. They had a set with a very large Udon soup last time I was there (couple of months ago) and didn't have the sashimi one, so the menu seems to change.
I actually was impressed by the quality and freshness of the fish, so maybe it differs from time to time.
Definitely stop there if you have a PP, even if departing from T3 or T1. It's also quite near the sunflower garden - my personal favorite of all the gardens in Changi 🙂
And yes, there were no prices on anything on this special menu for PP, and the free drinks seem to be limited to green tea, orange juice, coke and water - at least, that's what the server told us.
Tipping wasn't mentioned once in the blogs or in the photos, what are you people on about?
Please don't tip in Asia. Servers don't expect it and will feel insulted and embarrassed.
