"this would be a steal for the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse JFK" - Pretty sure Virgin, and AF for that matter, restrict access during their flight times and only allow access during off times to PP and have a far lower quality offering during these contract lounge times.
So they kill their PP cash cow just to charge $30 per person.
Is Plaza Premium really making more money?

I think you're thinking of Priority Pass, not Plaza Premium, which is offering this product and is also the operator of this VS lounge.

I guess you’d have to be a solo traveler to make this work. The great thing about Priority Pass was that you could bring someone (spuds, etc) in with you.
Thank you for the updates. It is good to see all of the wonderful travel news that you provide in all aspects. OMAAT is so much better than the horrible junk pieces by Loyalty Lobby. Will continue to stick with OMAAT as an avid reader.
