The airline took delivery of its first of these jets in February 2022, and it marks the carrier’s entry into wide body service. Let’s go over the details of Starlux’s A330-900neo cabins and routes.

Does Starlux have any partners? Just wondering what award currency, if any, can be used for Starlux award travel.

Looks very nice. Now we just need that weird troll who mentions AA, Hank Tarn to complain about an airline buying a non-US airliner and an angry rant from the deranged Robert Schroeder.

Does your wife go to these men's apartments, or have you been able to get hotel status out of your arrangement?

I'm inclined to love Starlux because I love Taiwan and also want to use my Insighter status. But after being billed as a "luxury airline," I'd have expected more and/or better business class seats. This doesn't seem any more luxurious than flying JL, NH, CX, or SQ widebodies for mid-haul intra-Asia flights, tbh.

I think the interior color scheme is attractive, but I'm surprise this carrier went for a look that is so similar to Taiwan's China Airlines.

The cabin looks good but the seats could be better.

Ain't the colour scheme familiar? Looks like Turkish Airlines to me.

@Stan P Why the hostility? Are you jealous? I am being candid here so respect me for it. I am from Abbotabad Pakistan and this is normal behavior where I come from. Abbotabad is a sister city to Tucson, AZ in the United States.

They are looking at joining Oneworld. I used to think with Cathay being close by and having veto power, it would be unlikely, but with them and HKG essentially down (and out) now, I’m starting to think they might be able to make it work.

Starlux will take Cathay Pacific’s place when the latter most likely gets CCP-ized and gets integrated into Air China or Greater Bay Airlines or something. It’s the new white and green global airline in town. Whatever it is, it cannot be good for CX. Sometime in the future, I can see Starlux joining Oneworld and gaining many of the passengers that used to fly CX and don’t want to settle for CA, MU, or CZ levels of service.

I remember hearing something last year about that. Has there been any other news about that in the past few months? I also thought Oman Air and few others would join OW by now.
