With 6 on order, I would guess FRA will be the final A380 (daily) destination.
I am concerned I might need to change oe re-deposit. If I am not brave enough to do Avianca, what is the next best option?
@ Kate -- Aeroplan charges 105K plus fuel surcharges, United charges 120K without fuel surcharges, ANA charges 140K roundtrip plus fuel surcharges, etc.
Would you recommend me to switch ANA 77W biz class from NRT-JFK to NRT-ICN-JFK on Asiana A388 biz class (not really care much about F class, so your input on J will be much appreciated)
Given that they'll need 2 planes to make this work - and what appears to be a 5 month window from first flight out of manufacturing to delivery, I would guess August would be the first revenue flight date - although they could hold to late Sept during the fall schedule change.
Aircraft #4 has just completed manufacture (according to this link: http://www.abcdlist.nl/a380f/a380f.html - plane # 183). It will probably have it's first test flight in early February.
Hey Ben, does United block Asiana award seat? I see it on Lifemiles but not United for First Class.
@ Alonso A -- Ah, good point. Was thinking of the cash co-pay amount when buying miles at ticketing. Updated the post.
@ leon -- They shouldn't. It should be bookable by phone if you can't see it online.
@ putt747 -- No, I'd stick to ANA. Not only more direct, but a better product, in my opinion.
