As I wrote about yesterday, Asiana announced on Instagram that their next longhaul A380 destination would be New York JFK. That hardly came as a surprise, though frankly I wasn't expecting them to announce the exact schedule so quickly. Even tho Asiana doesn't block new first class award seats like Korean air used to but Asiana is always harder to get first class award seats out of lax. 1 aircraft vs 3 Korean air aircraft.

Asiana's first class food and lounge @ICN is better than Korean air but you can't beat Korean air's
schedule.

Ben, I bet chicago or san francisco because I heard from the asiana station manager in LAX that once they get the extra 380's, they will have 2X daily A380 at LAX

Aeroplan still shows 77W also (for 6/13), while UA shows A380 correctly

but strangely, OZ blocks out mid-July to mid-Aug for 1 Y/J even (completely White/blank between 7/22-8/25 on UA.com)

But if I want to use LifeMiles, where could I continue from ICN in F? Do they have any Asian or middle Easter routes? Thx.

Lantean: Tokyo? otherwise you are s.o.l. as no mixed class bookings allowed

I really, really hope it is the Chicago - Incheon route. Will be a nice change from their current angled-flat seats in business class!

I just flew on the Asiana A380 out of LAX and its IFE still needs improvement. It has such a limited amount of movies compared to its competitors. I booked this last March right before US Airways left star alliance. :/
Can ORD or EWR handle the a380? I'd think Asiana is better off flying these planes to UA hubs than to JFK.
