As much as we've had an amazing journey for the past two weeks, it sure is nice to be back in the U.S. On Thursday we flew Kuwait Airways A330 business class from Dhaka to Kuwait City, and yesterday we flew Kuwait Airways' new 777-300ER business class from Kuwait City to New York, via Shannon.…

Recommend is defined as : To praise or commend (one) to another as being worthy or desirable; endorse. It is not possible to "recommend to avoid".

Did you at least get to use the preclearance facility in SNN?

Kuwait first class looks like the new Delta business class?

JoeMart:

This might seem outrageous, positively shocking, but some words have more than one definition. Here's #2 on "recommend"

to represent or urge as advisable or expedient: e.g. to recommend caution.

Sure sounds like what Lucky's doing.

Take your pedantry to a corner of the internet where no one will call you on it

Emirates does the similar for flights departing in morning from DXB heading to Europe. They call the first meal "continental breakfast" and then serve "lunch" before arriving.

Nice review! Last month I did LHR KWI and back it was excellent! The return flight was on Airbus A330 it was fantastic as well, Actually i prefer KU's new business on BA's club world, Seats were comfortable, Food was good and generous! I would definitely fly them again.

@Lucky - "you could never get more than three hours of interrupted rest"

I think you meant uninterrupted.

Lucky, did you get pre-cleared in Shannon? Or did you clear immigration at JFK?

@ Bob Trial -- Nope, they don't use Pre-Clearance at SNN.

@ Hiro -- Indeed, though I find the Emirates "continental breakfast" to be a bit more substantial than what Kuwait Airways offers.

why do you fly airlines of countries where it's illegal to be gay, with even the death penalty?

At least until 2002, they provided a gift set in Business, even on Delhi-Kuwait sector. A perfume bottle and a nice pen. I was small enough then that did not know what brand the perfume or the pen is, but it did look nice. And yes, they offered the lowest fare between Delhi-Chicago, and let change dates for free for the return sector. We got upgraded twice between Delhi-Chicago! It was a nice gesture for sure!

I work for the airline and its good to see a frequent traveler's review in comparison to other airlines apart from also our previous service. Glad that most of it is positive! (something that we have not been used to receive in the last few years!) As you said we are getting better but still not there thats true since we are still working on improvements in all areas bearing in mind at keeping our prices competitive as always.

This is one of the 3 airlines that is supported, contrary to Open Skies treaty, by their national government. If the other Open Skies signers had Billions with a "B" of dollars of Government support then they could offer this kind of service too. When you fly one of these airlines you undermine the airlines who are playing by the rules of the treaty. Emirates and Qatar are the others.

For that New Boeing 777-300ER, IMO they should go with Apex Suite also with a 2-2-2 configuration.
