Over the years we’ve seen airlines participate in all kinds of viral dance challenges, though no airline video has ever put a smile on my face quite as much as this one…

So grateful to have visited Bhutan a few years AGO. Such a scenic airport and country. Watching the video gave me chills!
This is now my official song and dance for celebrating all of the Simply Miles about to hit my account! Cheers to you Lucky!
Enjoy the song before the Christians, Jews, and Muslims try to claim ownership of this holy song and turn to violence.
Brought back beautiful memories we had at Bhutan. The flight out was eventful too! It started to snow unexpectedly and airport was shut down. We had a flight to catch at BKK the following day so just had to cross our fingers and toes. Luckily snow stopped after several hours and our flight was first to leave. we rushed to the airplane from lounge and luckily we made our flight to BKK and then to Luang Prabang the following day.
Love how at 1:31 and 3:31 they incorporated what seem to be safety instructions (exits and lighted aisle) into the dance routine 🙂
Awesome video, definitely uplifting. You can view the airport clips https://www.instagram.com/tv/CXndlu9F3a6/?utm_medium=copy_link
Have recently been disregarding many of the daily OMAAT emails but something today told me to open this one and so good that I did - this Drukair video is brilliant! (actually brought tears to my eyes). I always enjoy any Jerusalema dance videos and it's not just the upbeat mood from the music and moves ....it's this "unity" theme and a great endorsement of collectivism against individualism with people working together in unison and creating a happier and more friendly society.
I teared up. So beautiful and everyone looks so happy. Thank you for sharing with us.
Myself coming from an large, ultra resources-rich country, absolutely destroyed by the evil socialism. Where we can't even enjoy a decent safe airline. Watching this beautifully masterpiece, from a tiny country with miniature budget. Brought tears of joy to my eyes. But also a sad reminder of a my homecountry totally lost.
Music legend, Bob Marley song “one good thing about music when it hits you feel no pain” watching these clip you can see everyone enjoying themselves. It’s so refreshing, even implementing the mask. Well done
Bob Marley probably never went clubbing and got stuck in front of those powerful speakers.
Or he's too high, he couldn't feel a thing.
Bhutan is a very special country, where very special people live very special ideas... of Happiness and Understanding. Of Sustainability and biological diversity. Where people who work with tourists feel like friends no matter whether you stay days or weeks.
We'll come back - and for all you aviation geeks: Druk Air 400 Seat ... F - you'll be in Paradise flying across Mount Everest
We're thrilled to know that you enjoyed the video tremendously! 🙂 As an official representative of Drukair, we can't wait to bring travellers to experience the magic of Bhutan again once the borders reopen!
Proud to be a Bhutanese and thank you for the love and support. I shall keep my spirits high and continue to work with even more zeal, commitment and integrity.
Palden Drukpa Gyalo!!!
An amazing introduction to Bhutan for someone who has never been there! A lovely video indeed. It definitely lifted my spirit and my want to visit Bhutan.
I can't wait to visit Bhutan.
I was searching for a guidebook or travel guide for Bhutan. Then found this gem https://www.bhutantravelog.com/travel-guide, colourful and attractive photos with lots of information. Highly recommended for new or experienced travellers.
Yay!
I ordered it for my kids. I was in Bhutan back in 2000, looking at the video I can see so many changes. Need to go back.
Wonderful video and it brought so many fond memories.
A friend sent me the JERUSALEMA DANCE video by Drukair, Royal Bhutan Airlines. Beautifully done! The best part for me was the song, especially the singer’s voice. Does anyone know the name of the singer? Does she have other songs? I’m also curious to know the translation of the lyrics. Thank you for making the video.
