Cool! I would love it if their catering was Japanese - Mexican fusion, I bet that'd be delicious!

Just FYI - Aeromexico's new 789s (which it started operating last month) do have direct aisle access in business class.

This is an AWESOME route given that I visit family in Mexico City from time to time. This will be on my bucket list. I will be experiencing ANA 787 business class from SYD to HND. Excited to try the product!

Yes. We fly 4 times a year and go through California. AeroMexico is horrible. The snacks are cup of noodles. The food is horrible we bring our own. Everyone is rude starting with making a resveration. If you use an American credit card, it work won't on the internet. You make reservation but they can't take your card Then you have to call Houston and pay for the call. Everyone's is rude. This is wonderful news that ANA is coming. We fly them all the time. We love them.

Like most of us japanese (aviation otaku or travelers etc) we always wondered why ANA decided to fly such a route as there is a reason why no other Asian (JAL) or Euro carrier that flies to Mexico. I am a Jpn national and unless I slum it in Tokyo and really look or ask around you never ever see or even hear about any foreigners much less Mexicans and don't know anyone here in japan who even deals with Mexico business or pleasure sorry but you just dont hear about that country outside of western media.
