Amazing: Corendon's Funny, Raunchy Safety Video
Corendon Dutch Airlines published what might just be the most attention-grabbing safety video ever. Even though it’s not in English and I’m not even familiar with the characters, I still love it (thanks to Dennis for flagging this)!

Corendon has a 747-400 parked at one of their hotels near Schiphol airport: https://www.corendonhotels.com/corendon-plaza-amsterdam-schiphol-airport#boeing747/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=my-business
Corendon Hotel out Schipol has a 747 parked there as hotel attraction and quite sure filmed in that
Speaking of Corendon, they have another hotel in Amsterdam which has a suite with a 737 cockpit in it. You should definitely check it out! The room is also very reasonably priced.
Apparently it’s now part of Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio: https://www.marriott.com/en-us/hotels/amsct-corendon-amsterdam-new-west-a-tribute-portfolio-hotel/rooms/
Funny. Corendon is in fact a Turkish company with subsidiaries in the Netherlands and Malta
@Lucky, Corendon owns its own 747! It’s parked in the garden of the Corendon Hotel, next to Amsterdam airport and used to fly for KLM. Hence the blue chairs and blue curtains. And yes, it’s the very same 747 in the beginning of the video: the video is shot in the Corendon Hotel.
Gosh have i laughed myself silly! Thank you for this Lucky. Have a great weekend.
I think they are speaking Papiamento when not speaking Dutch. It sounds a bit like Portuguese as it's a Portuguese-based creole language.
This video is hilarious. The video has been shot at Corendon Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. Partially in the hotel and in the Boeing747 that has been parked in the garden of the hotel.
They must have spent a fortune on this video as the main characters are all famous Dutch personalities.
I'll be the stiff who (admits that I) found it rather annoying. But then I'm like that with all of the over-the-top departure videos. But I guess if it gets even one more person to pay attention, then it's served its purpose.
Safety onboard commercial aircraft is a very serious matter. I would much rather see it being treated as such, as opposed to a failed attempt at humor.
Beats Delta's latest safety debacle video (theme based attending a movie or play)!
Can see how some would be entertained by it, the first time. Would be annoying as hell after multiple viewings though.
Agree, perhaps it gets some people's attention but it is a bit annoying.
You are correct and this explains why it is only used on the Curacao route. When I was at the airport in Curacao, I remember speaking to some airline employees. They began to speak among themselves in papamiento and were quite shocked when I was able to continue the conversation (I continued speaking English). The language is also close enough to Spanish, which I speak, to be quite intelligible.
