How was the wifi (if there was any)?
Spent about a week in Warsaw this past November... Wasn't exactly a great city (except for the old town) and all the sights can be seen in just a day.
When I got to the photos of the buffet I was expecting to see a huge layout of onions. Only onions.
@ wwk5d -- The wifi was reasonably fast. Not amazingly so, but faster than I expected.
You wrote "I found the lack of outlets near the desk to be a bit odd." but the picture shows an outlet just to the right of the desk.

You mentioned that there was a walk-in shower. Did you mean a bathtub/shower combo?
I bet that elevator enthusiast would have been pretty excited about the elevators there!

I'm afraid that the only place to stay in Warsaw is the Intercontinental, in a high-floor room...
And if the view isn't enough from there, there's always the pool on the 43rd (if memory serves) floor 🙂
the best thing about that Intercontinental is the restaurant Platter by Karol.... AMAZING food and, being polish priced, a ridiculous value by international standards
