Surprised the rates seem to be so reasonable for what looks to be a pretty nice property with good views and nice rooms. Though if I'm going to Crete, I think I'd rather charter a sailboat than stay at a resort.

Great looking place, though those pics were giving vibes of a previous horrible experience you had. Wasn’t there a hotel that was under construction, or shabbily maintained and you were escorted off the property by management? I thought that was in Greece as well?

I disagree. This is just more bland, soulless corporate “sameness”. So many new properties opening the past few years are bland, bland, bland. White walls, white furniture, corporate vibe, no sense of place or uniqueness, nothing special. I can’t remember the last time Marriott opened a property that was actually worth a special trip.
