The Lufthansa First Class Terminal experience is literally unbeatable. The second we stepped off the Hotel Kempinski shuttle we were welcomed by our personal assistant who verified our boarding passes and immediately escorted us through security. The terminal just has a small entrance way and seating area as passengers get checked in, and then just…

I'd think most exciting thing for airplane geek should be ability to drive one. I would call you more of a First Class geek 🙂
Been in LH FCT few times and while food and service are pretty good, the interior looks pretty dated to me.

Anyway I would like to know more, what kind of prices are travel agents getting in Aman and Kempinski as these are unattainable through loyalty programs (Yeah I know Kempinski has one, but it's pretty pointless)

I do love the FCT. I didn't want to leave. By the way, the Duty Free shop there is pretty decent as well.

The FCT is such an experience. When I was there I didn't want to leave and I've been itching to go back ever since.

BTW, these photos are excellent.

So Lucky, if you had to pick your top 5 first class lounges (not including business class lounges like Virgin's London lounge), what would they be? I know the top two would be Frankfurt and Bangkok...what would the other 3 be?

ms jmd001 and I experienced the FCT last Wednesday. Can't wait to do it again!!! However, next time, I need book a late afternoon or evening flight. Our 9:55 AM departure did not allow us to experience as many of the foodie perks as you did. 🙁

It is a good thing you have a big appetite. If I had the meal at the lounge like you, I wouldn't be hungry to eat when I get on the plane. Life is tough flying first class.

@jmd001,

We had the same issue last December. It was a mid morning flight so less food and no pretzels.

Need to find a way to book another one of those trips with my miles.

All that food just means more trips to the airplane bathroom. I guess you just gotta rough it 🙂

Nice report Lucky with great pics.

But you forgot to mention which airport the FCT is in. Other, not so savy travellers may not know.

stp
