Will might be right. This seems to be a CEO ego driven project. Seems to have nothing to do with flying planes.

I consider this yet another mismanagement by JetBlue not despite selling their VC but because of selling their VC.

8 exit from 55 investment is considered very good.
JetBlue selling off one of their performing unit just shows what a bigger mess they're heading into.

I guess cash is an issue and chapter 11 is very near.

Agreed, though if a UA merger was on the cards it could be UA forcing the sale

I used to work in an office building in San Carlos where jetBlue Ventures had some offices. I always did think it was a rather odd company to have existed....
