Nothing on the livery, but I prefer coffee along with any hot beverage in a proper mug rather than a disposable cup. But that's just me.

Touché! I assumed you were talking about premium cabins! But yes, I wouldn't mind coffee with a lid in economy since you're bound to get plastic anyway.
On the same vein with coffee, I wish they have other varieties of sugar as opposed to white as I use raw, turbinado sugar as much as I can.

Now I understand the adult ask for a lid a little better. Perhaps airlines should encourage sippy cups for adults.

Like the radical departure from B6's usual color palate, but maybe just a hint of their blue shade ( in the lettering JetBlue ) ? But. then maybe that would be such a garish contrast ....

My Boston-educated better half defends it and its culture (like Dunks, as she calls it, even though she wouldn't be caught dead there) all the time. One of the most overrated cities on the planet, if you ask me. Fenway is an awesome park, I will say that.

Billboard titles are bad enough, advertising liveries are bad enough, JetBlue losing its elegance over the years is bad enough, and now you've got a 3-in-1? Threefer? in this abomination. The Jewel of Far Rockaway, I guess? 😛
Couldn’t they have kept the standard JetBlue livery, but swapped the tail and blue belly for something pink and orange?
I find this more appealing than Condor's prison stripes .. and I like Condor's prison stripes.
I'm not a Dunkin' fan or customer, but I do love the livery. Nice and bright. Also cool to see that it was repainted in Macon, GA, I didn't realize Macon did that kind of work.

Even if the cup is paper, the lid is plastic. So its not in the environment's best interest. But perhaps obvious that an airline blogger doesn't prioritize the environment.
If a lot of hot coffee was spilling on passengers, the airlines would have changed their behavior by now.
Spirit gives a lid on its coffee and will pour you one to take with you to go too.
Once upon a time, US Airways had lids in First and would give them out so you could hold your pre-departure coffee (in paper/Styrofoam cup) for takeoff.
Good on JetBlue and Dunkin'.... they've had a good partnership. A few times in the past they've run promos like a $25 off a flight coupon on a box of Dunkin K-cups. It is nice that JetBlue serves a name brand coffee, as do Spirit and Southwest and some others, versus just white label like the majors. But the problem is that the water used and altitude combined don't help matters. Though arguably it's still better building up from that poor base than adding more bad to it.
The donuts on the right side of the tail needs more sprinkles. Hard to identify as a donut.
I guess it depends on your definition of "a lot" but Google searching shows this does happen frequently. I guess they can just drop the temperature of the coffee to non-burn temperatures (which I suspect they do) but spilling can still harm the user experience.
I suspect airlines weighed the cost of potential lawsuits vs cost of lids and the lids were more expensive. I really strongly doubt anybody with significance in the airline industry is working for the environment's best interest
Agree on the lid and honestly the IFC (in flight coffee) is actually pretty good on B6.
UA’s illy is better though.
I think the lid is especially useful when I have to use my laptop or other equipment so I don’t spill it on myself

I agree that JetBlue's Dunkin' products are quite nice. My hot beverage of choice is hot black tea, and I actually look forward to the Dunkin' English Breakfast tea that jetBlue serves onboard. It is noticeably better than the English Breakfast tea available on other US airlines.
I also like to get this tea from Dunkin' shops on the ground in NYC. It is quite noticeably better than the Dunkin' English Breakfast tea in other parts of the country. I don't know why this is, and at first I thought it was in my head but after so many years I have noticed that this is indeed true. I am South Asian, and given the big South Asian population in NYC, maybe they have a separate blend available in NYC which is more like the way I like black tea.
Sorry, but I need to say something a bit incendiary here. As a non-Americans, we can’t understand the obsession with donuts (yuk - sweet over-processed glue) and American coffee (dish wash water). Generally the larger the ‘coffee”, the more insipid the taste. What happened? All those Italians with their wonderful espresso machines seemed to land in New York, and then somehow when moving westward, the dreadful drip-“coffee” took hold (admittedly decent coffee can be sourced in SFO). Starbucks pretends to know about coffee, but were a dismal failure in Australia, the bland American style coffee failing to lift off. Surely this airline can source something even vaguely pretending to be healthy to eat and drink, not fricking donuts!
As an American citizen. Yup I agree. But I also understand. 60% of the people in the USA are FAT. They are addicted to sugar and our food industry insures it. Our beverage and snack industry adds more sugar to their products every few years. Our cup of supermarket yogurts used to be as low as 6 grams of sugar. It's now 24-32 grams because people get desensitized to sugar so they have to pump more in to maintain the illusion it's yummy.
As for coffee, they go to Starbucks because Americans are also lazy which is also the main reason they are FAT. Starbucks is the closest. And if you live in the suburbs that's your only option for miles. In my sister's town your choice is Starbucks in the north bound road or the one on the other side. The closest non Starbucks and good coffee (there is only 1) is 20 miles away. The closest meh coffee that is non Starbucks is 7 miles away. That is how American suburbs are built. Thankfully, I live in San Francisco and New York where there are good coffee. I've also seen good coffee in Miami but I don't travel to Florida anymore so who knows what's still there.

The irony of an A********** airline promoting obesity in a land where it runs rampant and literally has a detrimental effect on the flying experience for those who aren't such slobs.
