@Lucky- thanks for the list. We booked 4 nights at the CP Playhouse Cleveland for 45K (4th night free w/cc). Husband is having another heart procedure at the Cleveland Clinic so this is an excellent use of points for us.

@ Ben -- Thanks! You just saved the FCQ about $400 worth of Hyatt points! Yes, I mean Hyatt points since the 8 nights of PB stays at 7,500 points per night are in lieu of Hyatt stays at 5,000 points per night. Now he can buy me something nice...

Kimpton Overland Atlanta Airport is a good deal at 15K. It's usually $250 before taxes during the week.

Many Sydney properties over the New Year. Holiday Inn Potts Point over the NYE for 15,000 points each night with open availability.

Meh. We stayed at the Hiroshima Crowne Plaza in 2017 and, while the location is great, the hotel is not so great. Our room was obviously a smoker at one point in its lifecycle, there were cigarette burns on the desk, the furniture was beyond well worn, the breakfast was alright but not really very good. We were on a club floor so had access to the lounge, which was nice with great service, but you come to expect good service in Japan. Overall, I would avoid this one if I go back to Hiroshima. As for the rest of them, if I am going to the trouble of dragging my tired butt all the way around the world, I want a better hotel experience than I am accustomed to with IHG. I burned the last of my IHG points this winter on an overnight at EWR while positioning us for SQ21/22. Burned 15 K points on a $125 room. I guess...
