Given your schedule (or lack thereof) and your seeming proclivity for stomach upset, you might want to consider a daily probiotic supplement. Most people don't need one, but for some of us with unpredictable diets, schedules, and the occasional bout of traveler's tummy, they can be a lifesaver.
Picking the supplement that's best for you is a bit of trial and error, but changing them up every month isn't a bad idea.
Since I started taking probiotics at the urging of my doctor, I've gone from having debilitating gastrointestinal distress every 3-5 weeks to virtually none at all.

Interested to know if this lounge is available to use on departing flight. We're on business class Singapore air that leaves near midnight and I'm not seeing any lounge availability for Singapore air?
The Male airport has numerous challenges, but Huhulmale island (to which it is connected by a causeway) is still able to grow. Lots of new condo buildings there! Once the road to Male is finished lots will change. But one thing won't change: that airport is incapable of further growth, and it is what it is.
Last November we asked our scuba shop on Vilingili if his boat guy could drop us with our luggage at Hulhule Island hotel, which is a 4-minute walk (or shuttle ride, for the lazy) from the airport terminal ... we enjoyed huge bottled German beers for happy hour at the bar ... then walked slowly and sluggishly to the terminal for the AirAsia flights back to Kuala Lumpur. This is the only place alcohol is served on airport island, so take note!
For now it's just a footbridge for workers that connects Male to Hulhule (airport) island:

Question: do the bathrooms at the lounge have air conditioners? The Conrad bathrooms and shower did not. I took a shower, but it was pointless. Just wondering if the st Regis is better?!?
I've always enjoyed TPG and OMAAT, because I've felt it's all training on how regular folk can do it too. It's how I got to PH Maldives and Conrad Maldives. But seeing TPGs post about SR Maldives and now yours... well that just plain bites. Retirement or bust, I guess. (If it's still around in 25 years).

My Maldives bucketlist trip has the Anantara Khadivah hotel, but I've been seeing the St. Regis and it looks equally stunning. Would love to read your review on the hotel. s
Bentley is now only reserved for those who book 2 or 3-bedroom Villas at the StR. Regularly guests are not entitled to use it as I was told by reservations manager.
