I am looking forward to the trip report. I think it is pretty amazing that you got the routings and airlines you did. My hat's off to you.
I would like to give you a friendly suggestion:
Go out to the cities you fly into, take photos, enjoy the surroundings and perhaps even expand your trip reports to cover the interesting things you see.
I am now beginning to realize there are just so much more than flying/hotels, and there is a vast world out there for me to see. Use the miles/points to see the world in addition to enjoying the perks of traveling in style.

Fees on that award were even less than you've said.. since that $30 booking fee is $30 CAD not USD! So it was more like $29...
you may have covered this earlier, but how do you have so many Aeroplan miles? Do you bank all your UA stuff there? transfer from Amex? thanks
