We got to the IC Le Grand Paris at around 8:30AM. As Ive mentioned before, I booked this hotel on points, for 40,000 points/night. Hi Lucky,

I'm glad you had a good time at the IC Le Grand. I'm a regular there and indeed am at the hotel right now. As an RA, you can always check in at the Club itself t avoid lines at the front desk. Also, all the IC's in Europe offer the entire mini-bar for free. Not just this hotel. It is east Asia where you only get drinks. However India also is fully complimentary.

Lucky - Very interesting post. Sounds like you had a great trip! Do you think it's worth going to Paris for only a few days, or would you have stayed longer if you could?

Thanks Stimpy, you're right. Most of my IC stays are either in the US and Asia, and drinks are always free, while I don't remember the last time I had free snacks.

Mike-- I would have loved to spend more time in Paris, but it was an amazing weekend getaway. Sometimes just getting away for a weekend is as great as a weeklong vacation.

Thanks Sandy! 🙂

PS: I realized I left out quite a few pics, so I added a few more to this post.

Part three is coming shortly...
