What is with you and Matthew about being addressed by name? You should be happy the FA didn't threaten to kick you off the plane like that United flight you blogged about! 😉

And yes, you are being too harsh, two flights does not a review make. I am pretty sure you have had two less than stellar United flights in a row. Sounds like they have a good product and good crews. You can always bring your own (larger) napkin on the next flight!

Highly entertaining! Great detail! Can't wait for the NW review.

great report, very nice detail, I did a few flight on CO a while back and found the best thing about them as their FAs (compare to UA that is), i was acturally thinking of status matching on CO and back to *A if DL really start sucking, but after reading your report, i'll have to do a few more flights on CO before i make my decision. Looking forward your review of NW. One thing i can still say with confidence is that NW FAs are some of the best in the US, i'm sure you'll like them.

Bad luck of the draw, I think. On Monday, my CLE-based lead FA (Intl Service Manager) took the time (3 or 4 times) to answer some basic CO questions I had, gave me his card, told me to feel free to email anytime, then later added his home phone number saying his wife wouldn't mind. 😀

No doubt he is exceptional just as your grump was... at the opposite end of the spectrum of course.
