Spent more time in Qatar than Dubai, but thought the area really isn't worth even a second trip. Maybe just wrong time, but for those prices in general there's plenty of places I'd rather be. The only incentive to go is for a trip on one of the many A380's that frequent the route.

I stayed there few years ago, it's horrible! you can hear kids screaming all day long and when they close at night, the loud snow machines start working!
It's one of those hotel rooms that look spectacular in pictures, but is not a good idea in real life.
