I expect the relationship to eventuallyy evolve more like SQ/MI, and in the future, I do hope FlyDubai will move to DXB T3 so the MCT can be reduced.
Or option B: Flydubai is used to open up second daily routes in market that can't support more than 1 wide-body flight.
Or Flydubai takes over some days to make routes daily in markets that can't support a wide-body everyday.
I've flown FlyDubai. Never again. Worst legroom and seats I've ever flown in (including other budget airlines. After 2 hours, I had a sore back for several days, and I'm young. The EK 77L was like heaven in 3-4-3 economy with broken IFE afterwards. As Daniel just pointed out in his review, the 777s aren't great for anything over 3h, and I was on it for 16-17.
