Delta has a pretty fancy new website set up promoting their new "Sky Priority" service, which is available to Delta Gold, Platinum, and Diamond Medallion members, as well as SkyTeam Elite Plus members. Time will tell, hopefully more comes of it, then less. Though I have my doubts.... I would be thrilled to have an award calendar that works for low ticket tiers, unlike DL....

"The sole improvement is that those eligible for “Sky Priority” that aren’t in first class will receive a coupon when they check-in entitling them to a complimentary beverage or snack. That’s a very nice gesture. Not getting a “free” upgrade sucks, so offering something in place of the upgrade is nice."

AS has been offering their complimentary alcoholic beverages to MVPGs stuck in coach under the "First One's On Us" label for the last, oh, couple of years. Sounds like DL is a bit late to that party! 😀

(And with AS, not only is it the "First One's On Us," but many of their cheerful, awesome flight attendants will cheerfully bring a "Second One's On Us," "Snack's On Us," or even the [rare] "Extra First Class Meal's On Us," although those are not official benefits... ;))

Gold, Plats, and Diamonds get free drinks and snacks boxes in Coach, wow, i hope they carry enough snack boxes for half the plane!
