Big news day yesterday - why not take a break with a Kennedy Steve youtube video where he goes through the ATC audio of a "this never happens" JFK-LGA VFR flight? Entertaining!
It’s less travel-points-cards, and more aviation-industry, but… looks like Boom Supersonic’s pivot-to-AI isn’t going well. Appears they lost a $1.25 billion deal to produce turbines for data centers. Not directly the supersonic passenger aircraft but if the company is struggling to keep investors and clients, that’s not a great sign.
@1990_ always worried when your core mission has pivoted away....i dont think boom is gonna really get off the ground.....
@isaacc Yup. That, and their lack of an engine, probably not 'helpful' for Boom's 'core mission' of returning the industry to a new era of commercial supersonic passenger aircraft...
@1990_ It's the vision that matters, the engine will be sorted out in the fullness of time. People are so negative about details.
