Surprisingly interested in the American Airlines leadership shake-up this week. I know Ben has covered the pressure on Isom and AA’s profitability gap quite a bit, but I don’t think I’ve seen anything here yet on the actual management reshuffling. Curious what everyone makes of it. Meaningful change, or mostly moving the org chart around?
@kmcgrady Probably something I should've covered, and would be curious to hear how others feel. Personally, it seems to me like those changes do nothing to address the core of American's leadership problem. I can't figure out if this was done so management could say "see, we're doing something," or if these were just coincidentally timed departures.
