Citi has quietly rewritten Strata card bonus terms, swapping the old 48-month rule for a stricter once-per-lifetime eligibility policy.

So the card nobody wants is now adding more restrictions for the 8 people who still want to apply for it for some reason.
Hey now… it’s all about… Citi Nights… 6x dining… after 6PM EST… only on Fridays and Saturdays… (totally not restrictive at all… yeah… naw…)
And how bout that semi-annual Blacklane credit*, $100 between January-June, and another $100 between July-December, minimum cost for ‘rides’ starting at around $150… what a deal!
*statement credit may take several months to post to your account (don’t worry… be Citi!)
I was out of the Citi card ecosystem for a while, but got the Elite and have been surprised at just how poor the customer service is at Citi - I'm closing it and moving on.
dont trust Citi's IT to be able to pull this off correctly but either way not surprised all the banks are heading this direction
