I recently posted about how kids in kindergarten to fifth grade can get 16 days of free skiing by signing up for the Epic Schoolkids Colorado Pack offered by Vail Resorts. It’s a pretty amazing deal considering that it comes with four days of skiing at each of Vail, Beavercreek, Breckinridge, and Keystone, all top-notch…

With the rail, you can actually get to the Park Meadows location, since it is on the other side of the mall from the R line station. Just take the A line to the R line at Peoria station, and take the R line to County Line Road. Just be aware that the rail day pass is $9 per person, and RTD is very strict about making sure people pay on the A line

Not worth it unless you can enjoy going anyway.. Check out mountain collective pass. It's awesome for travel hackers. Still a good deal. Kids up to 12 were free in the spring. Now it's only $100 for kids with adult pass. I used one last season. It pays for itself quickly.

The National Rent 2 Get 1 deal wouldn't work in this situation since the rental has be for 2 days or more to count.

- Signed a business traveler that makes a lot of one night trips

P.S. - This is a great deal! I just bought my annual pass for $649 - ouch!

I am not sure if I would classify "quality time with my kids" as flying with Spirit!

@Jessica - That's about what my Rocky Mountain SuperPass Plus cost, but it included a free ticket for my son, so its value is quite a lot greater.

Wow, how is this aviation/hotel or a premium related experience. Would never expect this kind of post from Lucky.

Varun Susarla -- Where in the world did I ever say Spirit was premium??? I said they were cheap. And cheap is what you need to make this deal work.

I love this post. It's a creative idea with great cost/benefit analys, and it's perfect for those of us who are on a budget and love travel adventures. I would love to see more of these posts; that get you out traveling with your children, creating memories, all while saving money on an upcoming family vacation. I just bought the epic ski passes for my two children last week for a December ski trip and I would've done this in a heartbeat.

NO! Stay where you are. CO doesn't need any more people.
