IHG premier cards are top of list of most overrated. And IHG program is just mediocre.

If you hold both the personal and the business card, do you get doubled the amount in the United travel bank?

Ha! Ha! Ha! Hardly. Man, wiith the 200K points bonus + an additional 600K purchased points during the 100% bonus offer, that puts me at 800,000 points for $3,099. Which works out to about 36 nights if I don't buy another 400,000 in 2027 and take it up to 1,325,000 points during the first 100% bonus purchase offer of next year. That equates to roughly $86 per night when including the anniversary free night and the 4th night free perk when booking with points; not to mention platinum status, etc. To stay at a Holiday Inn, a Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo or Kimpton/InterContinental/Regent/whatever -- depending on my mood and the rate -- anywhere! Be it the U.S., Mexico, Caribbean or Europe (which is where I'm at most of the time) so if that's not a "home run," then I don't know what is, dude. Get a clue first. Then bash.
