Most gameable? Nah. I'm currently renting a car from Avis every weekend (80-120$), earning 10k additional SAS miles on top of any miles I would have earned anyway. My rental office is in on this and I don't even have to pick up the car.
Surprised I didn't know about this promo. Any other good scalable opportunities at the other agencies?

As someone who doesn't get to fly business class on other people's money, this was an amazing way to earn a lot of miles. I was able to get rentals for ~$22-35 a day, and at one point the promotion was up to 5,750 miles. So for the price of $25, I could get the same united miles as a $570 ticket.
I'll still take advantage of this when I can, but instead of multiple day rentals, it will just be long weekend rentals.
We need a nice recession to reset prices and people's smugness. I think a little reset will do everyone Good. We may see deals come back after a recession.
We also need a civil war or at least some low grade violence with bloodshed between liberals and white supremacists to dispel the anger in this country.
At some points in the past 12 months, my offer was to earn 5,750 UA miles per rental. I earned more than 100K UA miles and PC status on cheap $20-$30 one-day weekend rentals. This has since expired and replaced with the 2,750 miles offer. Once you reach PC status, you get very nice cars and some great Hertz promos. Most recently got almost 1,500 Hertz points for one day rental.
Too bad this gravy train is leaving us ...
I fly United and drive Hwertz. I can no longer rent a Hertz car through the United website as I used to. It only offers Thrifty and Budget. What's going on?
