Amex really needs to up their game and have ordering to the table instead of a buffet
This looks like a very similar drink/food menu to DCA. Did/will you do a comparison? Assuming it's reservation based you will want to make a reservation about two months out if you are able.
re dn10 - yes we are skipping the DCA Centurion lounge over the capital one landing every trip from our home airport. There is no comparison between the two. In DFW we do the same and select the Capital One lounge over Centurion as well.
It’s right after security in B… like, top of the escalator… c’mon, UA-NYC, unless you’re allergic to LGA (which is the only airport in actual-NYC with United flights, or, by ‘UA’ were you referring to Ukraine, and, if so, slava!), you should already know this…
You can certainly argue that C1 now has newer, better lounges in NYC than Chase and Amex. And all 3 have their lounges in the same terminals.
Amex's lounge network is big though. Chase's network is small. C1 almost comparable at this point.
The only thing Chase still has going for it in comparison to C1 is that guest access is still complimentary without $75k spend. If that were to go away, the value proposition of the CSR would go away as well, I think.
Meanwhile for $395 a year ($95 if you use the $300 credit) you get access to brand new lounges. And can always pay for guests and still come out ahead versus CSR if you're only using the lounges with guests a few times a year.
