I was extremely pleased with Aer Lingus. I found the food to be reasonably good in both directions (definitely better on the return than the outbound) and the flight attendants to be efficient and courteous. The angled flat seats were more than sufficient for what essentially amounts to a transcon flight.

Actually, I thought the food looked pretty good. I assume that the reason there was no wine list was that they only serve Guinness. No, wait...your normal friend had champagne. What kind?

When I saw the amenity kit pic laid out i had to do a double take, I looked as though Air Lingus provided a condom in the ammenity kit.

Yeah the food's definitely not Austrian Business food. But it looked fine, especially for a flight of what, 5.5 hours? I'm not sure why, but over 7 hours I'd be disappointed. Maybe because 5.5h is westbound transcon length, and UA/US have me used to a snack box and a scowl on flights of that duration 😉

What's the best way to search for award availability in business class for the BOS-DUB-BOS r/t on Aer Lingus? United.com search only seems to show economy availability. Thanks!
@ Kurt -- There's no way to search for Aer Lingus award space as it's available to BA online. The best way to find out availability is to just call BA. It's generally quite good.
