Enjoy Verbier! I was a couple of years ago there, and despite being during the off season, l had a great time. What was your cost per night?
Vebier is the more "commercial" of ski resorts in Switzerland, but it's still nice.
@ anon -- We took the train. There were a couple of transfers involved, but it was an easy and beautiful ride.

You should try getting actual ski lessons from a proper instructor/teacher, private instructors are really good I got a private instructor for myself while skiing in France one time it was fantastic (they really are great teachers and know their stuff). The great thing is he/she works at your own pace so you can go as fast or as slow as you want then you its much less stressful as you can just concentrate on just you not anyone else yourself. Also you should try skiing in actual snow ( Verbier is a great opportunity) not just an artificial slop in Dubai its much nicer in real life.
Best winter in 20 years in one of the best ski resorts in the world... as someone suggested try a private instructor and maybe you can enjoy a great and better view from the top... yolo

1. Can you now control the room temp, to what extent? Or is it still all centrally controlled and you have to sleep with your door open over the busy street
2. Is the pool area still filthy? Water ice cold?
3. How is the service? Attractive but indifferent?
