On Monday I wrote about how Air Canada’s Aeroplan frequent flyer program didn’t seem to have access to EVA Air award space. Apparently it was due to a ”system issue,” though it was broken for a few weeks. Nowadays there’s sometimes a blurry line between an actual system error and ”yeah, we had an error,…

Good C product and lots of North American gateways. Avoid Seattle old 747. (btw, United Award is not 75K in C but 80K in C)

Since Citi is a transfer partner for EVA, is there a mileage chart for EVA? I tried google and EVA's site without any success.

I don't know if it's still a "glitch" or not, but I could only find outbound YVR-TPE...nothing for TPE-YVR for Mar 2015....

Too bad all biz availability ex-North America is non-existant from May 1 to the end of the calendar.

Considering that ANA charges only 90,000-105,000 miles round-trip on EVA (depending on where you're flying from), I'd think that that'd be the better deal if you're transferring from AMEX Rewards... unless you only want to fly them one-way, I guess.

@will: Search for EVA Air/UNI Air Award Ticket. It's a pretty simple chart:

Economy // Evergreen Deluxe aka Elite Class // Business aka Premium Laurel aka Royal Laurel

Within Asia (include Guam): 35,000 // 40,000 // 50,000
Between Asia & Oceania: 100,000 // Not Available // 150,000
Between Asia & America (Excludes New York and Toronto): 100,000 // 110,000 // 150,000
Between Asia & New York or Toronto: 110,000 // 120,000 // 160,000
Between Asia & Europe: 100,000 // 110,000 // 150,000

Frankly IMO, the rates suck.

I cannot access EVA flights on the Aeroplan website, appears the previous problem has resurfaced?

I'm having trouble viewing YVR to TPE award booking first class on EVA air.

I've tried the aeroplan booking, united milage plan booking and ANA award tool. It only come up with crummy AC, UA, China airlines bookings.

Any hints or tips?
