In mid-2012SriLankan Airlines announced they would be joining the oneworld alliance, with hopes of finalizing the arrangements by late 2013. Unfortunately that didnt happen, though last October theyannounced a target join date of April. Their routes do show up on the One World Interactive Route Map now. http://onw.innosked.com/

@ Scott -- In terms of "true" longhaul destinations, they fly to London, Paris, Frankfurt, and Moscow, off the top of my head.

I see (very limited) UL flights on the Qantas website. Mostly BKK-CMB.

I had a great flight on Sri Lankan last year from KUL-CMB. Yes, I'll admit that my very favorable feelings towards them come from a free upgrade that happened to be on my birthday (though I think it's because I was last to buy my ticket (<2 days prior) and didn't have a seat assignment.) I would easily pay for their short haul business class again. New, good food, decent IFE.

@ JL -- I believe they say "leading" and not "largest." Which I guess everyone can interpret the way they'd like to. 😉

@ Lucky - the graphic says "the largest"... Not sure how that's possible since CX has a lot more planes and destinations.

In the banner image in your post above (first image in the post) it definitely says largest.
