I really don't like these Thompson Vantage seats.
It doesn't matter whether they are new, they are just so uncomfortable that I actively avoid any airline that offers this specific business class seat.
I will never understand why on earth an airline that already had terrible Thompson Vantage seats decided to install the same seats again with just some cosmetic changes.
They are not identical to their old product. Their old business class was 2-2-1 / 1-2-2 while the new one is 1-2-1 / 1-2-1. This reduces the number of seats without direct aisle acces.
I'm very confident riding on Brussels new a330 jumbo jet would be a beautifully tender experience and get rave reviews about its new airplane. 🙂
Do they only utilize one aircraft between JFK and BRU? I'm flying that route with Brussels Airline in July, I hope i can catch the new business class product.
@ Fernando -- They could do a same day turn with the plane, but it doesn't look like they're consistently using the same plane for the route, so no. Hopefully they do eventually offer the product consistently to JFK.
I rode it the other day to DLA and LOVED it. SN is really such a hidden gem of a carrier. The food rocks, the beer selection is a treat, the amenity kit items are high-quality, the hard product is very good, and they send you home with a box of Belgian chocolates!
I flew BA LHR-JFK in the bubble the week after and while the Queen is nice Brussels stole my heart.
