I handed the evaluation to the flight attendant as I was walking out of the plane, so at first she had a confused look on her face, but as I walked down the jet bridge I heard her laughing.

When I've traveled in Europe, I've noticed that their idea of a carry-on is definitely smaller than the US definition.

@ Susan until several years ago Admirals club required paid T-Mobile access, later cards were provided to passengers entering based on class of service. Now access is free but there have been lounges that do charge.

I thought the lounge offered one of the worst food collections I've ever seen. I was disappointed. This is a shared lounge.

Shame there is no Barcelona and Marbella installment. 🙁

Having been in the BCN VIP lounge a couple of weeks ago (I was flying SWISS), I would rate it good for comfort, but the food and service were below European norms. The pastries and croissants were kind of nasty: the cereal, at least, was edible. The check-in staff were reasonable, not especially welcoming, but nicer than some of the Lufthansa FRA lounge matrons. As you pointed out, the WiFi was not free, which was disappointing.

I spent a few days in Barcelona last year, I loved it! We even rode one of those touristy busses around the city for a couple of hours! Though that time I had the whole extended family along...we took up two whole rows of coach...it was an 'interesting' flight...

I told my friends on Facebook about your website today. In case you don't feel like reading it, I was very complimentary. I'm trying to figure out how to use up the AA mileage I have from the Citibank credit card I've used for the last 25 years. A long overdue visit to see friends in Israel is one of two options high on the list. While a week in Barcelona on the way is just what the doctor ordered, I swore fifteen years ago I'd never set foot on another 767 after making the colossal mistake of flying FC on American from JFK to LHR. I was based in Japan/Singapore from 1986-2001 and came home baffled by what seems to this day to be the US carriers refusal to compete on seats and service. The so-called BC seat pictured above in your review should have been an embarrassment to AA in 2012 and hopefully has been taken out of service by now. I'm just wondering what AA business class seats look like now, in September 2019 on the JFK-BCN route.
