The YVR-LAX route excites me because this will make it easier for me to use my Avios directly, rather than having to call for AS seats - or having connecting flights. A lot of the more premium flights out of NA also goes to LAX, so this makes catching those easier as well, especially as a OW Sapphire member.

Per AS FB page, December 2023, "Now boarding: Power at every seat! Our first plane with USB and 110-volt power plugs enters service today. The majority of our fleet will be upgraded by the end of 2014. Soon, you'll never land with a dead battery again."
Living in Tampa, I am so glad DL has a competitor on this route now (plus, I would WAY rather fly AA). Now if we could just get UA (or Virgin) to give us a non-stop to SFO....
Wonderful news. The new American will have a 300% increase in routes out of YVR. Dallas and now Phoenix and LAX. Great news. I wonder if AA will release award seats though? AA is starting to become more like Delta when it comes to releasing seats.
