Alaska Mileage Plan and American AAdvantage have a partnership, offering reciprocal points earning and redemption opportunities. Unfortunately flying on Alaska is about to get less rewarding for some AAdvantage members.

Even as an AA Platinum elite (pre-pandemic), I didn't see the value in crediting my AS flights to AA. @Ben as an EP do you?
Despite the recent devaluation, AS mileage Plan miles offer at least as much value on premium partner awards, if not more, as compared to AAdvantage miles. Others may use their FF miles differently and therefore may have a different opinion.

Less AA members on AS flights means more upgrade space for AS mileage plan members. A win for me.

I would assume he credits most if not all to AA so he can requalify for status.

What about AAdvantage million miler?
Does it count and ratio 1:1?
