While Alaska Airlines joined the oneworld alliance as of March 2021, the airline hasn’t yet rolled out award redemptions on all oneworld partners. For now the program is continuing to only allow redemptions on select partners, with each airline having a different award chart.

It seems value of Alaska miles keeps falling. I frankly at this point am afraid of their overhaul... 75K for J flight to Europe is not exactly competitive.
I'm not sure it is all that bad of a value proposition, If you value AS miles at 2.4cents then the extra 15k miles for Business on IB over their other main European partner BA is the equivalent of $360. BA charges $759 in carrier imposed surcharges for a business class O/W SEA-MAD. With IB only charging $24. So while you're spending more miles you're saving $375 in cash by booking IB with AS miles.
Ben I respectfully disagree with your take that "The main selling point of Mileage Plan continues to be that you can have stopovers on one-way awards..." I think the main selling point has been that they're points are considerably more valuable than the other us carriers and even worldwide. The points are harder to earn a lot of but that along with their increased value is a result of alaska being a much smaller carrier(network size and scale). They have 1 hub and their largest aircraft is a 737. One way awards vs RT only are valuable to a degree but nowhere near what they're charging for the new additions. Finally I do want to see what premium economy will be, prem econ joberg to EU for low-mid 20's could be good.
And you still can't redeem Avios for AA flights since the BA web update weeks ago.
Of the all the airlines I have used for long haul travel Iberia is the worst by miles. Customer service in person or by phone is nonexistent, check-in in Madrid is an hours long nightmare and the website is a barely functional joke. Avoid like the plague.
