The Air France-KLM Flying Blue program and Caribbean carrier Winair are expanding their partnership. It’s cool to see Winair finally get an airline partner with reciprocal mileage earning and redemption opportunities, but manage your expectations.

Any reasonably priced redemption opportunity is welcome, given that rewards on AF/KL are prohibitively expensive (except promos).

I'm very interested to see what XP-earning will look like on this partnership. Keep in mind that Flying Blue awards 5 XP on even the shortest international flights. SXM-SBH, while less than 20mi, is *technically* an international flight, as it's leaving Dutch territory and arriving into France. Could be a great mileage run opportunity.

I would assume this could be beneficial for many Europeans that travel to such islands.
