Rocco Forte Knights (formerly known as Sir Rocco’s Knights) is an invitation-only program for select travel agencies, and is the best way to book a stay at a Rocco Forte property. The idea is that a travel advisor affiliated with Rocco Forte Knights can get you the best available rate, while also adding VIP perks, ranging from a property credit, to a room upgrade, to breakfast, without it costing you extra.
In this post I’d like to go over all the Rocco Forte Knights details, including the benefits, participating hotels, rates, and how to book these stays.
It’s common for luxury hotel groups to have these kinds of programs, and separately I’ve covered Accor Preferred, Belmond Bellini Club, Dorchester Diamond Club, Four Seasons Preferred Partner, Hilton for Luxury, Hyatt Privé, Mandarin Oriental Fan Club, Marriott STARS, Oetker Collection Pearl Partner, Peninsula PenClub, Rosewood Elite, and Shangri-La Luxury Circle.
Rocco Forte Knights benefits
For booking a Rocco Forte Knights reservation through an eligible travel advisor, you can receive a variety of benefits, including the following:
- A property credit, once per stay
- Complimentary daily breakfast
- An upgrade, subject to availability
- Early check-in and late check-out, subject to availability
- A welcome amenity
Let’s look at the Rocco Forte Knights benefits in a little more detail…
$100+ hotel credit once per stay
Rocco Forte Knights offers a minimum of a $100 property credit once per stay. That’s the standard amount, though for booking select suites at some properties, you can expect to receive a $200 credit, so you’ll want to check with your travel advisor to see what’s available.
This can generally be used for dining, spa treatments, etc., though exact policies and exclusions vary by hotel. The credit is the equivalent of that amount in foreign currency (since Rocco Forte properties are outside the United States), and the conversion rate is determined by the hotel.
Complimentary daily breakfast
Rocco Forte Knights offers complimentary daily breakfast for two guests per bedroom. The exact policy will vary by hotel, in terms of whether the benefit just offers a full breakfast, or a credit of a certain amount. Either way, it should cover the full breakfast. At most Rocco Forte properties, this would otherwise retail for $100+ per night for two guests.
Room upgrade, subject to availability
Rocco Forte Knights guests receive a room upgrade subject to availability at check-in. Note that since Rocco Forte Knights is Rocco Forte’s own preferred partner program, upgrades for the program are prioritized ahead of upgrades through other programs.
Early check-in & late check-out
Rocco Forte Knights offers early check-in and late check-out, subject to availability. Priority is given to guests who book through the program, compared to guests who book in other ways.
Enhanced welcome amenity
When you stay at a luxury hotel, it’s standard to get a welcome amenity, which could include a snack, drinks, etc. For booking through Rocco Forte Knights, you can generally expect an enhanced welcome amenity.

Rocco Forte Knights participating hotels
Rocco Forte currently has 15 hotels globally, with another four properties in the pipeline. All properties are in Europe, and you’ll find the following currently open:
- In Belgium, you’ll find Hotel Amigo Brussels
- In Germany, you’ll find The Charles Hotel Munich
- In Italy, you’ll find Hotel Savoy Florence, Rocco Forte House Milan, The Carlton Milan, Masseria Torre Maizza Puglia, Hotel de la Ville Rome, Hotel de Russie Rome, Rocco Forte House Rome, Rocco Forte Private Villas Sicily, Verdura Resort Sicily, and Villa Igiea Sicily
- In the United Kingdom, you’ll find The Balmoral Edinburgh and Brown’s Hotel London
- In Russia, you’ll find Hotel Astoria St. Petersburg
All of these properties participate in the Rocco Forte Knights program.

Rocco Forte Knights rates & how to book
Generally speaking, Rocco Forte Knights benefits can be combined with any rate you’ll find directly with Rocco Forte. So this could include the flexible rate, advance purchase rate, or even a rate that includes a third or fourth night free. However, note that they can’t be combined with any third party rates you find on other websites (though generally Rocco Forte offers its best rates when booking direct).
Once you’re ready to move forward with a Rocco Forte Knights booking, here’s the process:
- You’ll want to reach out to a Rocco Forte Knights travel advisor with your preferred dates and details, including the number of guests
- The Rocco Forte Knights travel advisor can confirm the rate and benefits for your stay, and if you’re ready to move forward, you’ll need to provide the guest details and credit card for the booking
- The Rocco Forte Knights travel advisor will then confirm the reservation for you, and you’ll receive a confirmation email directly from Rocco Forte, and will still be billed directly by the hotel
If you’re looking for a Rocco Forte travel advisor and would like help with a Rocco Forte Knights booking, Ford and his team are more than happy to help, and don’t charge fees for these bookings. You can reach out to them at [email protected]. In some situations, Rocco Forte Knights benefits can even be added to existing reservations.
Note that there’s no way to book a Rocco Forte Knights rate without a travel advisor, though there is one thing that could further simplify the process. Specifically, the TravelWits portal lets you book Rocco Forte Knights rates directly.
You’re still booking through a specific travel advisor’s platform, but it’s great to be able to compare rates. You can instantly look up prices here, and then easily book your own reservations, without needing to deal with a human (if that’s your preference). These portals do have to be password protected, so if you’d like to use Ford Beckett Travel’s portal, you need to email [email protected] to request the password.

Rocco Forte Knights vs. Virtuoso bookings
I think it’s worth briefly mentioning that beyond the individual hotel preferred partner programs (like Rocco Forte Knights), there’s also Virtuoso. Virtuoso is a preferred partner program that covers 1,500+ luxury hotels around the world, and also offers perks. Online bookings are also possible.
So, how should you decide whether to book through Rocco Forte Knights or Virtuoso? The short answer is that virtually every travel advisor with access to Rocco Forte Knights should also have access to Virtuoso, and can advise as to which offers better perks.
In a vast majority of cases, you’ll be better off booking through Rocco Forte Knights, even though benefits are comparable on the surface. Why? Well, hotels consistently prioritize guests booking through their “own” program, so Rocco Forte Knights guests have top priority for things like upgrades. Either way, this is something a travel advisor can advise you on.
